Got banned.

So I left a game open while my sister called said she crashed her car and need help, left the game and went to assist her, came back and appearently I got banned, not saying its not justified, but it seems permament, now as much as i appreciate the useless FAQ up there in the forum, theres no single word about how to deal with this, I paid money like everyone els to play this game and now it seems I am permamently banned for leaving it open, yeah, fine, i deserve it, but for how long ?

it appears as if 343 trying to run people away.

so thats it ? my game is banned now and theres nothing to do about it ?

Quitting your last matchmaking game didn’t get you banned. Quitting roughly half of the games you play got you banned. No one ran you away from the game except yourself.

It’s not a permanent ban unless you’ve been banned before several times.

60 minutes ban it says now, should break the CD to pieces for being banned for that long, i serve and i get a day and a half at home in 3 weeks, thanks for that, you do run players away.

In halo reach it was a 10 minutes ban, not all people have 20 hours to play a day, others got work and uni you know, so the fact you don’t understand stated situation and reply doesn’t help, thank you.

19 of your last 30 games are listed as DNF in your game history. You’d be doing the rest of the online community a favor if you broke your Halo 4 disc and stopped playing.

I probably shouldn’t stick my nose in considering where the tone of the conversation has gone, but I really do want to implore you to finish the games you start (this applies to everyone). When you quit out of the game you are hurting the experience of everyone else in the game.

Each game is only about 10 minutes long. Make sure you have the time to fulfill the responsibility you assume to the other people in the game when you queue up.

Looking at your recent history, you are a regular quitter. In just the most recent 5 pages of your MM history alone half of your games are DNFs. The system doesn’t care what happens in your life. If you quit that much, you deserve a punishment.

I’m sorry OP, but this is entirely your fault. Now you’re just going to have to deal with it, preferably without blaming others.

60 minutes to spend some quality time with some people. I’m sure many of us could use a ban once in a while.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but if you can’t stand 60 minutes away from ONE game, then how do you sleep?

Habitual quitters do more to ruin other peoples games then anything 343 has done.

Shame on anyone who quits enough to get a ban.

Every time one of these threads is madeto it makes for an entertaining read. Really? “I quit this one time and got banned!” Don’t you know we’re gonna check your history?
