I received a message from support saying they updated their services and bans from custom games should no longer occur. No download will be needed for this to take effect.

This game and MCC have matchmaking bans that make no sense. Like, someone at 343 has to be aware of the issues, right? We dont want to play games when its 3v4, 2v4, or 1v4. We cant quit though without fear of ban. How difficult would it be to implement a system where, in the event of uneven teams, you are free to quit without penalty? You are losing players, and its because of standard QoL things like this that every developer in the world has figured out, but somehow this developer cannot.
Now, this custom game ban is an absolute disaster if it’s true.
All the people who throw shade at the victims of false bans here are the ones telling you cheaters don’t exist in the game, dispite most of the claims of someone cheating are coming from vets and we’ve watched people climb high in ranked using cheats.
Good job 343 Defenders, you guys sure do make me like 343 more by insulting other players for simply trying to voice their issue about something that needs fixed.
