Got an Elite Controller.I use bumper jumper.Help!

Hey guys. I recently got an Elite Controller. I have been using Bumper Jumper for a long time now. I am using two short paddles right now with each of them set to crouch and thrusters. How can I improve my controller settings ? What dead zones and aim acceleration should I use ? What sticks should I use ? How to set up trigger locks ? Kindly help me with all the settings since I am extremely bad at customization.
Thanks a lot.

Wish I could help you but that really comes down to personal preference. I use the convex thumb sticks just because I feel I have more control. Trigger locks can be tricky as if you turn on your your trigger finger you can’t charge some weapons like the plasma pistol so I usually only leave the grenade trigger on. I didn’t mess with my dead zones at all. My aim acceleration is turned up a bit and I also turn my vibrations down by quite a bit as I don’t like the controller vibrating so much.

i use the Razer Wildcat with two buttons underneath i use for zoom and crouch i bought 2 just incase one broke but they are more durable than i though im still using the first one i bought so long ago. I dont think controllers will help people get better at halo though.

Just as a recommendation, having crouch as one of the paddles seems like a bit of a waste since your left thumb is already on the stick. Especially if you have toggle crouch turned on. You could have weapon swap on the paddle instead. That’s way you could at least turn and swap weapons at the same time. That’s seems more useful

paddles are good for crouch strafing though

I don’t know if it’s useful but I have my elite controller with just two paddles. I’ve always played bumper jumper. The stabilise is a great mechanic for jumping and just having your gun pop up above cover and you can hide by unscoping. Also it’s difficult to quickly scope in while in a fight while aiming using the click on the analog. So I play bumper jumpe with left trigger to scope, upper left paddle to throw grenade and bottom right paddle to thrust. I can now scope in and out at will without it affecting my aiming. Thrust is also always instantly accessible
