Ok so I purchased the LE Edition and only found out later I had to be a Level 50 to use the Specializations even after I put the code for them and the Maps in.
So last night I get this message saying they apologize for the delay and it has a Specialization code attached that is only the for that purpose.
So I enter the code and the Specializations are still locked.
My questions to anyone else who got this.
Is it still locked until Level 50 even though they just sent me a new code and apologized for the delay?
This makes absolutely no sense. I already had a code for this so why send another useless code or at least the same one that works at Level 50?

No one gets Specializations until Level 50. Duh.

Spartan-IV is levels 1-50. From there, you pick each specialisation in turn, each of 10 levels, up to level 130, the level cap.
People are normally limited 2 specialisations, or level 70. That code allows you to hit the max cap of 130, earlier than most people.
Yes, you still have to do the damn work yourself.
I’m at 55, with no code, and 210 games played. I’m having to slow, because being in Europe, I have to wait for 343i to actually announce when the specialisations roll out.

Ah man that is dumb. I actually thought 343i was fixing the lie er… I mean the misrepresentation most people read wrong er… well whatever.
I can send you the code if you want it. Maybe it will still work. I mean how can it accept a code for something I already have. Well check your PM I will still let you try it just in case so let me know.

Nah, I am not upset, I just wish I knew better. I sent it to the other poster above. If it works for him then great. I would have given it to one of my friends online if I knew. Oh well I am not in the information loop like most of you people.
That is why I ask the questions because you all always know the answers. I thought that is a good reason to even have these forums right?
Thanks to everyone though but I just saw it and was like oh cool no more waiting till Level 50. I really wish I could get there faster. I try to do all the challenges I can or the ones within my skills to even get. Some I have no chance or time to get like the 70 wins.
I workout a lot and have kids so it is hard to put in the time it wold take m at my playing level to get there fast. I think I am a 27 and half way to 28 maybe. It was a lot faster in the beginning haha.
