so about a month ago “due to my continued patience with mcc” i got a code for xbox live , never used it, gave it away, today got a message saying again due to my continued dedication to halo mcc, got xbox live 1 month, no code just automatically applied, message said no further action neccesary, …if i did get a code i would have given it away again, because i dont want free xbox live, i just want a working file search,…1 month xbox live is not going to cut it. i appreciate it, but …i just dont care about it
You want the game we were promised…exactly as it was promised to us. Please don’t say you only want a file search. I want you to get your file search, but if we offer exceptions to what was promised to be included, one of us or someone else will end up NOT getting the thing they wanted most…
If it was promised, IT DAMN WELL BETTER END UP BEING IN THIS GAME WORKING AS IT OUGHT TO BE.
Giving away your free xbox live certainly isn’t going to get your demand across. It will do the exact opposite. You’re helping Microsoft advertise a product which works quite well… You’re helping to potentially line their pockets more. If you want to make a point, then don’t purchase Halo 5 (buy it used if you for some strange reason cannot refrain).

Are you sure? I got mine automatically added and have not heard of people getting codes until now.

That because they didn’t give out codes, they applied it directly to the existing subscription(hence the no further action necessary part of the message)

right, because giving away Xbox live to a friend (that’s a guess) affects Halo MCC. LOL get out of here. I also see you on just about every thread complaining. How about you wait a till they fix it and get everything in order? complaining over and over and over and over and over and over… you get my point. It’s not going to make them do what you want, they get it, they’re trying, it’s going to take time. Have you ever developed a game or know how much it takes? This isn’t even one game, this is 4 altogether and on a new gen console. There’s going to be issues. Sure they should’ve launched it in working condition and such with the playlists and stuff people want. Have patience, how many people launch 4 games all at once? It’s hard to not expect issues. Secondly people will buy Halo 5 as the beta runs better than the MCC did. They won’t just not buying something when they know for sure it at least works.
i got 6 free months. i noticed my girlfriend had a message in her inbox with a free month code. so i checked all the other tags that i have played mcc with and they all had free 1 month codes hahahahahahahahaha!! i added them all onto my main tag!

Codes were given out to players, not everyone recived an update to their account.

This is how it happened, i used my wifes account and played to have her as a second player to test infection on one of my maps, her account is shared on my xbox live so she rercieved a code a month ago, and i recieved automatically 1 month 2 days ago on my account, but we share a live account so technically, i recieved 2 months
