Okay, maybe dumb but I don’t know who Bailey is. But he posted a picture in Twitter showing new ODST armor. I don’t know if he made the pic, or it’s coming from 343, but it looks absolutely amazing!! The setting looks like spartans landing in a Warzone setting. That’s why I thought it is maybe future Halo 5 content.
343, if you’re reading this, I wouldn’t mind if this ODST armor would be added to the Halo 5 REQ pool as some sort of Christmas present to your fanbase.

That’s just a render. It has nothing to do with what’s coming into the game. It was retweeted by Halo or someone at 343, I forget which, just because they often do that with community made art.

Yeah probably. Sigh… it just looks zo epic. Absolutely beautiful. Wouldn’t mind if it would be added to the REQs for Christmas.
The description on top is a quote from the Silent Cartographer mission in Halo CE, and the Spartan in the pelican looks like the CE remastered Master Chief, so I take it this is just fan art that makes you reminisce classic Halo games. Sorry, no new content, here 
That’s not new ODST armor, that’s the ODST model used in Halo: Reach’s Campaign mission New Alexandria, aside from the helmet, which seems to be Romeo’s variation from ODST. It’s just a really nice looking render.

Of course I don’t mean new as in ‘brand new. never seen before’. But new as in ‘new in Halo 5 if it would be added to the REQ pool’. I know it looks very similar to a Halo Reach style ODST helmet.
Nightfall armour is pretty close to it.

Meh. Have you played Halo Reach? Those ODST helmets with all the weird add ons were the best! Nightfall armor looks pretty weird compared to Reach ODST.

Yes that seems to be the fact. Plus, it has the marines from Reach, and I’m not sure which game the Halo Mk V is from. Sorry, but you must like the other games more.

its fan made unfortunately, the spartan (I’m assuming is the Master chief) is wearing his CE armor (With Reach graphics) the marines are from Reach (based on the BDU they’re wearing) The ODST isn’t a spartan wearing ODST armor, he’s just a standard Orbital Drop shock trooper, Probably a demolitions expert based on his rocket launcher, also a reach style SPNKR Launcher. I believe that this is Reach based fanart
That being said, I would love the Reach artstyle to return, it was my personal favorite, it had a lot of detail, but it didn’t pop out or look cartoonish in any way, and everyone was able to wear different style armor, I’ve never had a game with people who had the same armor, except for clans (which, once again, were better on reach because you could customize Armor and emblems easily
It’s more like the Sniper ODST armor variant, like the one Romeo wears in Halo 3: ODST. But wasn’t there an armor set called Barvo talked about at one point, or was it made up?

That helmet looks better than every helmet in Halo 5. XD Will they add it to the REQ pool?

that actually looks pretty awesome
If anyone has played it, SPV3 has a newish version of Mark 5 that looks… Chunky. Might fit into this game to balance out the current slim armor we have
