Sad to see that the Waypoint Badges that have been present on the site from before Halo 4s Launch did not get carried over to the new site and were replaced with new badges. The forum ranks seem to be gone as well. So many new and better features, but part of our legacy was lost along the way. Cheers to what we lost, and cheers to the future and Halo Infinite.

Aside from bragging, I don’t personally care for the badges. I welcome this new system regardless with open arms in preparation for December.

I’m bitter sweet about it. On one hand, we lost titles and site badges but, on the other I feel like titles make some people post nonsense just to get those achievements that doesn’t add value to a topic and or, conversation.

You pretty accurately summarized how I am feeling. Will miss the badge I got for being in a Community Spotlight but I still have my Skins in H5 and the Title Card in MCC. And thanks someone on twitter like a year ago posted a 4k upscale of it so it fits the size of the modern XboxLIVE Profile pictures. I also have one of the Splatter Image from Bnet and the old Blue H2 Spartan from XboxLIVE on 360.

That’s pretty cool being featured in a Community Spotlight! I once had a Halo 3 screenshot featured on Bungie of two Spartans made to look like they were waving “hello”. In reality though it was just me splattering them with a Ghost.
It was my first ever screenshot but wasn’t featured until years later.
Is there way to select a Halo pic like we had? And also anyone else have games played not showing up? It’s weird bc I have the 10,000 played games badge but no games from Halo 3, ODST and Reach are showing up. However Halo 2 does. Just weird bc it’s still counting all them games for all Halo bc just Halo 2 4 and 5 is no where close to 10,000 as where I have 10,000 Halo 3 game itself.

I think the Legacy Stats are still a bit wonky at the moment. I know for a fact that H2 Stats are probably fine since they are static numbers that haven’t been updated since 2010. However Halo 3, ODST, and Reach, all have live servers still and have to track somewhat accurately. This feature wasn’t working well recently and imagine that it needs some for work for this new version of the site.

I 100% agree! This new forum system feels so much better and easier to use than the Old Waypoint Forums. I would even say this better than the old Bnet forums as well. Hopefully the community can come together like we did back then.
