Goodbye, ilovebees.

I decided to take a trip down memory lane by visiting Halo 2’s ARG site, ilovebees.com
It takes you to 42entertainment, the company that produced the ARG.

Sadly, it no longer exists.

Does anyone here have any memories, or participated in this? If so, please share.

Though a simple search brought me to ilovebees.co
Seems to just be a mirror site.

Oh the site vanished last year.

Plenty of records exist though. From the internet archive. To the place you found. To even Danas blog still existing.

So yea while the site mught be lost. The content lives on.

I’ve heard about the ilovebees promotion for halo 2. It was the most interesting thing I’ve seen for halo promotion. I wasn’t able to participate in it, but I remember hearing this one guy who stood in the middle of a hurricane to hear what the next clue was. That was dedication.

Oh I do have the DVD(that was hard to come by) Fun fact you are legally allowed to download it on the net for free. Its just finding a safe place to download it thats the problem.

For those curious to what I Love Bees is.
This youtube video is a good place to check.
Also this Halopedia page is also

Now here is two places you can check out if you missed out that is official.
Here is the official blog for ILB’s ran by the fictional Dana
http://ilovebees.blogspot.co.uk/
And here is the Internet Archive of the site(well this is better than the www.ILoveBees.co simply cause if shows the progress the community made, and also has some images that the .co lost)
https://web.archive.org/web/*/www.ILoveBees.com
