I’m not actually leaving Halo, I’ll still continue to play Halo 4, and all. I’m saying goodbye since it’s basically dead now, for some odd reason. So yeah goodbye Halo’s fans and population, you will be missed.
goodbye! do forget to write!
ya it isnt even the same game anymore…
It’s the middle of the day in the middle of the week and there are 37,000 people online. Am I missing something?

That’s for matchmaking only. That’s bad for a game as popular as Halo.
The vast majority do not like it’s matchmaking.

Nah. people make jokes like these alot.
By the end of the day, there will be over 90.000 online.
God this forum is so -Yoink!- melodramatic.
Sometimes it is like being forced to watch a -Yoink!- Twilight movie.

these numbers are never a 100% accurate to begin with…
Halo has been differnt since Halo 2
and halo 3

and halo reach

Or you could attribute the low populations to the high number of quality games there are. There’s a major game release almost every week these days.

Look at Halo 3, loads of competition, and tops the Xbox Live population for years.

No.
School is still in session for the next 2 hours or east coast
and for the next 5 for west
Not to mention jobs and what not.
The population always rises during the later noon.

I think we are missing something… Halo.
Middle of the day, there is no TU out yet, and most people will get it around Christmas.

Nowhere near the competition Halo Reach faced or Halo 4 is facing. Go look up “Game releases for [Year]”, and look at the titles released between 2007 and 2012. The number of titles and release has been growing at an exponential rate.

So the title update is the reason people left?

But if people really liked Halo 4, it wouldn’t of lost 80% of it’s Matchmaking players. People left because they don’t like it.
