What is the most hilarious, symbolic, memorable experience you’ve ever had in your experience of playing Halo?
Halo 3, spending hours every day after school playing all the custom maps with my buddies, we’d download every map you could think of that others in the community would make in forge. Some of my favorites were the obstacle courses where you’d jump, grav lift and nade-shot your way to all new heights.
Halo 3 was a game changer for multiplayer. It will always be a classic for me.
In Halo: Reach on the mission Tip of the Spear, I was playing with some buddies trying to do a play through on legendary. Well we got to the part where you board the Falcons, and as we where taking off, I started to bounce the grenades off the cliff. I was just bored and having fun, but I accidently blew two buddies out of their Falcon. I eat the cliff at just the right angle for the grenade to detonate inside of the Falcon! XD They where able to respawn and I did it again on accident XD after that we spent the next half hour killing each other. They where so mad!!

I was on the floor with laughter. It was a good thing we were good buds out of Halo else i’d be finishing the campaign solo lol
I was in a team slayer match in the early days of Reach on the tiny map above the forge world garage and three of the guys on the other team quit. I realize what has happened and start tooling around the map, jumping playing with the new jet pack etc.
The guy plays hide and seek with my other teammates and makes a decent showing, but the spawns were in the open so that didn’t last long. After a minute or two, I see them teabagging the kid. SO I betray one of them. After all the kid is by himself there isn’t any reason for my teammates to act like -Yoinks!-.
The guy I betrayed starts cussing up storm through his mic at me. So I team up with the lone kid, I shield strip, he pops them. They start betraying me, until I boot 1, then 2, and then finally Mr. Microphone himself. So I walk over to the kid and do a -Yoink!- in celebration and he blasts me in the face with a shotgun. You can’t be nice to some people.
