Good teammates are impossible to find in Gold 1-4.

Lost soooooo many games where I did the right thing, attacked on time and all that and STILL got stomped by trash players that only build Locusts and Blisterbacks. It’s impossible to solo 3 guys when your Forge teammate sits on his -Yoink- and techs to grizz and your banished teammate techs to Locusts, but does god knows what with his supplies and is dead broke 15 minutes in😑.

Oh, oh, oh! Theeee absolute BEST part was when a guy on my team kept feeding me supplies while he sat at his base and didn’t build A SINGLE UNIT😑. And then he had the nerve to get mad at me when we lost to 3 guys who were toying with us the whole time. They would push us back across the map, build artillery and then send grunts and Marines out to annoy us.

Imo, the rank system needs to be adjusted because it’s level 25 and ups who just sit there the whole time. It’s almost like the lazy players are always sent to be on my team as punishment from the gods…

Might just have to play party teams, I guess…

Not everyone needs to play ‘your’ way.

Just saying because just because people play differently than you doesn’t mean you need to make a forum post about them.

Can you give us a run through with some timings on how you typically play?

Why don’t you play solo

Try to add friends and then create parties to play. That is what I do and so far is going well. Platinium way to Diamond soon… XD

If I’m playing as Cutter, I make Marines to take hooks and gather resources.

Around the 3:00 mark, I get a barracks up and get tech 2 a bit later.

At 4:30, I attack with Marines, Flamethrowers and a couple snipers (I go earlier usually. Just lowballing here.)

Go to attack my opponents base to get it to a 3v2. This is where my last game went off the rails. When I initially got to my enemies base, I almost downed him, but his teammates dropped EVERYTHING And pushed me back. I come back at his base with close to a full 100-pop army literally 1 minute later and NEARLY down his base again and then his teammates drop 2 heals on it, push out a scarab with engineer support and heal his base from a sliver of health to a full tank😑. The whole time, one of my allies is struggling fighting another guy back with his choppers and grunts (12 minutes in😑) and the other is sitting there with Hornets and Nightingales close to the base I’m attacking😑. They push me back and then I get stomped…

Edit: I was fighting off Banshees, Cyclops, Snipers, grunts etc. They dropped turrets, cleansing beams ODSTs on me also. That’s the gap in skill between me and the guys I was playing with and against.

They even doubled up on me near the end while 1 guy had a scarab on him. Still no help from my teammate smh…

It does strike me as odd that so many play multiplayer games with no mics.

But I suggest joining the “Halo Wars Nation” club to help find players. I think the club feature is actually pretty handy for finding decent people looking for teammates.

the invention of party chat completely destroyed in game chat… I always like proximity chat in the halo 3 and just being able to talk to my teammates without being that guy who invites you every match.

You think that’s bad? Wait until you get to onyx, I don’t even breath without having a party. Team communication is a priority for sure…
