Hear me out on this one just for a second please.
The Trueskill matchmaking is working, I wont deny that and anybody who does is simply ignorant. Something else I wont deny either is that I keep losing friends that move on from this game simply because whenever I go into war games with them no matter what playlist (besides flood I guess) they get destroyed by our opponents because we get matched with people that are way better than them due to my hidden skill level. (Also im not trying to say that im a pro or anything I mean my KD isn’t that great I’m just way better than most of my friends). It causes them to rage quit and not play anymore.
On another note whenever I go in by myself now I get matched with good -Yoink- people and my KD ratio keeps dropping lower and lower. Now I’m not the type of person to really care about K/D or stats I just go for the win but at the end I really have nothing to show for it.(hence no 1-50skill level) I’m slowly starting to care about my K/D ratio because of this.
Okay, “I guess” these issues could really just be looked over since I should just be playing for “fun” anyways right? So i looked at commendations and stuff and figured well let me try and unlock some armor and whatnot. FALSE. Good one, try using like the plasma pistol or the storm rifle or whatever terrible gun there is against people that I get matched up with. It’s a lot easier for a “bad” player to complete most of these commendations against other “bad” players than it is for “skilled” players vs “skilled” players.
So I guess what i’m trying to say is that not only am I losing friends that I want to play with in halo and my K/D ratio and all the stats one could look at are hurting because of this hidden trueskill matchmaking system, but also I am being punished for being better than average players and therefore I am not able (or atleast it will be A LOT harder) to complete a lot of these commendations.
Have a social and ranked matchmaking in this game or none at all so I can at least enjoy the game with my friends for christ’s sake.
Thank you for listening
