If you’re one of the many, like me, who never received a specialization code, you’re in luck! After speaking with a Xbox Support representative over the situation and explaining that I’ve been to the forums, I’ve been patient and just wanted an answer and maybe a solution she told me some rather good news. Supposedly, (as I am taking her word for it) EVERYONE is getting the specializations tomorrow as they will be unlocked in-game. So let’s cross our fingers and hope whom ever she got this info from is right! 
They will be getting unlocked one at a time with a unreasonable gap in between them.
ummm yah very late news…everyone gets it when 343 feels like releasing them…these codes were for early access so LE gets them first then early halo players get them…
Whoops! I forgot to mention, tomorrow is when they would be released. According to Xbox Support.

well i talked to xbox live support as well and they said they have no idea when they will be available and they have absolutely no control over it… this was yesterday afternoon

I spoke to someone about an hour ago, so there could have been a change from your call yesterday. Either way I’m staying optimistic.

i spoke with someone and they just told me to watch the forums for updates…which i have been for two weeks…and still no code and stuck at lvl 70
So… lets see:
They give specializations to LE for making more buy it. Then to increase number of buyers on the release day they tell to give them also to those that play before the 20th. And at the end they release all of them few days later they recived the codes…
Just an opinion, but this means acting like a -Yoink- to get most money without caring of the customers…
I don’t really care, It’s not like I’m paying extra for the Specs. I just want them asap. This reminds me of Bungie’s Rank lock and no co-op campaign MM in Reach…

You just have to wait. Or haggle someone for a legit code.
While I was one of those that got my Specialization code on time, it would be great if MS just released a blanket unlock for the entire community to make up for 343i’s issues.
