Good news for 343 and 3 things they can fix.

With the declining population there will be less stress on their servers. Don’t get me wrong I like the game, but it needs some tweaks for sure.

  1. Unlock specializations for everyone, especially Europe. If you want to make money you can’t drive away a continent. You can’t hold people accountable for lawsuits they have nothing to do with.

  2. Give away something. If you do, people come running and often stay just because they might get something else for free. I.E. Let everyone who downloaded the map pack free keep it and play it. Sometimes it’s okay to take a loss to maintain business. Plus no one believes this “play and pay thing”. Especially people like me who bought the pass and couldn’t download the pack right away. We know you/MS f’d up, let it go, keep some people around.

  3. Eliminate a couple of playlists. When I get on at 930pm est and there are around or less than 2k in a playlist the first thing I think is “I don’t want to play that.” Mainly because it looks like no one else does either, so there must be a reason. Replace them with something radical like a Halo 3 playlist, 5v5 or 6v6, objective and slayer and just see how it does.

Trying things like these won’t hurt at this point, the game isn’t dead but it is dying. DLC pop on monday when I got on 21k, DLC pop tonight, 8k. Last week slayer and bt slayer were around 40k a piece, tonight both under 30k with infinity slayer closer to 20k. You can spout stats about number 2 all you want, I prefer my eye test.

The sad part is halo killed itself, I won’t put blame on Bungie or 343 but a lot of crap happened between H3 and H4. Halo Wars and ODST were the start, neither were bad but a lot of people didn’t know what they were buying. Sadly yes many don’t go online to review games, they just buy them for name alone. So I think a lot of people were dissapointed with Wars and ODST not having fps multiplayer. Then when it did come back it came back as Reach. Reach, also while not a bad game, was not what people expected. My point with this is no one knows now what to expect from a Halo game and that’s the worst thing of all.

Dude if you didn’t like Halo wars that’s great. But don’t say it was the start of the end or whatever. Its just your view on it. I’m a hardcore Halo fan and I was amazed that I’ve played Halo Wars for over 700+ hours and find it more competitive than Halo 4’s Noobinity Slayer.

Edit: I do agree that some people didn’t know what they were buying though…but that just shows how dumb some people are lol

You didn’t read what I said. I never said I didn’t like it, I said people misunderstood what they were buying.
