Why is it overpowered you may ask my fellow spartan? Well let’s just say this thing is able to beat the DMR at long range… really? Why the HELL can this thing effectively kill better than a DMR at it’s own range? What were you guys thinking?
“But how does it beat the DMR at it’s own range?”
It’s a four shot kill - No spread at all - (needs someone to confirm) faster FR than previous BRs - Recoil is non existent at ranges when you have that double zoom scope or a regular scope in general. And I’m pretty sure this thing has a lot of AA for a game that’s supposed to have “less” of that.
“But this only applies to Warzone!” yeah it does, but Arena maps are pretty damn small for the DMR to be used effectively anyways. Hmm, a 4sk or a 5sk weapon at close range? That must be a hard choice!
I’m open to anyone to convince me that this gun isn’t a little op, because it sure as hell is giving me that vibe right now.

Pistol is a 5sk, less range and AA than the BR. Honestly if you’re beating BR users 1v1 then either you got the jump on them or they can’t aim.
OP has made so many bad arguments this is barely worth a response. But I’m bored.
It’s ALWAYS been a 4 shot kill. Oh dear, now it’s suddenly OP because you don’t know how to aim it?
I know? Isn’t it wonderful? I love a perfectly accurate BR instead of that atrocious excuse for a “gun” the H3 BR was.
Wtf is “FR”? Fire rate? In which case, it’s been tested at roughly 3% faster. Such a massive difference! Clearly OP. /s
The BR hasn’t had recoil…like ever. Except H4 but we don’t talk about that game. Recoil isn’t really a part of Halo. If you want that, go play CoD.
You can beat the BR with the pistol (assuming you don’t miss at all). The DMR is vastly superior to the BR at range and in general in Warzone. I WISH I had a DMR for warzone but obviously REQ hates me.

It’s honestly been straight encounters with them. I’m not trying to brag or sound like I’m pro either, I just always seem to win when I 1v1 a BR user with my pistol.
Yeah, frankly the pistol is a beast; BR is better if you are accurate, but I beat out plenty of BR’s with the pistol. At the start of Warzone, I usually just switch to my pistol and use that for my first life, then take BR in place of my AR on spawn.

It’s not that because it’s a 4sk that makes it OP, it’s that it can used be at DMR range and give better results THAN the DMR if used with a scope. I don’t mind the BR being accurate, but not having any visible spread just makes it even more viable over the DMR. I’m not saying for the BR to have recoil at all, although you can see it does as the crosshair rises but even then its nothing as there is no point to it.
SMH… what weapon in Halo hasn’t been deemed OP… man it’s laughable at this point… every thing is OP… the BR, the DMR, the needler, the sun, the mongoose… what’s next? Armor is OP?

Snipedown prefers it over the BR and he wins plenty of battles… guess he’s only getting the jump or his opponents can’t aim?
Oh wait, no, he’s mostly playing against pro players.
While I agree that the BR is generally better for most people, the pistol is certainly more consistent if your aim is top-notch, since it’s only 1 bullet rather than 3. And to me, that makes perfect sense: it rewards players for being exceptionally good.
