The new maps except the sandtrap remake are terrible.
Valhalla is stupid because of how easy it is to snipe in the game and the others are garbage mazes.
Just because they’re new, doesn’t mean they’re good or fun.

No. I’ve been playing Halo since day one of C. E. Sniping is way to easy in this game. If I can feel like a pro sniping there is one thing wrong. I’ve always been terrible at sniping, except with this Halo.
I’ve seen nothing but praise for Eagle Square.

Sniping is indeed somewhat easier in Halo 5, but Valhalla has always been dominated by the lone sniper in the home base or the agressive sniper in the middle.
I’m actually quite enjoying these maps. Maybe you need some more time to get adjusted to them? If you get to know them more maybe they won’t feel like mazes anymore.

So… the remakes aren’t bad. It’s the mechanics that break them. People have theorized this for a long while, so it shouldn’t be a surprise now.
Terrible this, terrible that.
The spawns are a bit wonky, but if there’s a phrase that defines Halo 5, it’s that.
The maps are pretty good i think…
wreckage plays good, that eagle map also but it takes getting used to it. I like the deadlock ‘remake’. granted viking doesn’t play too well, but then again if you’re always running out in the open expecting not to get sniped it’s your own fault

I think these maps are great.
Valhalla always a dominated by snipers. Complain about the open quit taking the lifts it’s a good map. It’s easy to snipe in any halo. A lot easier on h4

This. Not good Halo maps with sprint and clamber. Changes have consecuences now deal with it.
I disagree with OP. I love the return to old maps. Thankyou to the community for forging them.
complain about how easy it was to snipe on blood gulch. there is always something to complain about.there is only one map i -Yoink!- hate. eagle square. that map is literally a maze. Radar goes crazy. not fun.
The only bad maps are AntiFreeze and Scavenger the rest of the maps are better then any of the 4v4 maps.
Fracture is da-bomb!
And with regards to sniping, I used to suck in the previous games, I picked one up on Recurve and absolutely whiped the floor with it!

Haha, no. Scavenger is one of the best. Fracture, however…
