I literally hate to write this…but good bye Halo Infinite.
You had so much potential, but suffer from neglect.
I’ve done my best to provide positive feedback and criticisms about you…but the feedback always goes unanswered.
You’re the same “beta version” of a game you were hundreds of days ago, despite the flood of feedback from the community. Do better.
Love,
A disappointed Halo fan.

I’ll miss your posts. I found them sensible even if I didn’t always agree.

I have left as well. Desync, is worse than ever, or I’m just noticing it more cuz I know what it is now, and the content just isn’t there.

I’m not in the habit of deciding when I’m done with a game. I just naturally get disinterested and stop playing.
That has started happening with Infinite.
This past weekend I didn’t touch the game for more than 2 days straight, first time since release.
I got on last night just so that I could complete my weekly challenges. Played for a couple hours… didn’t complete the challenges. Also didn’t care and shut it off. Stupid logo that I’ll never use anyway and no desire to keep grinding. Just getting bored.

343 higher-ups don’t want to do better.
The game does have a lot of potential, but not in their hands and that is a fact. Who in their right mind would think they need to destroy the concept of a game for the sake of a buck?
It’s flawed logic that needs to be removed from the gaming industry. All 343 had to do is follow (the original Bungie’s footsteps) learning to be consistent, and actually use what has worked for the game that made the Halo franchise back then 5 billion without a stupid shop/BP.
That last part with this “live service” is what actually ruined Halo infinite, because that is what this game was built around.
Same. Haven’t played since last Tuesday…logged in to see the weekly challenge and simply couldn’t be bothered to play this broken game…I just don’t care anymore. I may log in later to see how the Tactical event plays and if there’s anything worth doing the challenges for, but if the connection quality becomes an issue (which is most likely and matters even more in SWAT) then I’ll just play Elden Ring or do something else. Halo Infinite is not missed when you stop playing and caring about it.
343is handling of Infinite is truly maidenless behavior.
Goodbye threads don’t offer any discussion value.
