So recently in halo4 my friends said that golden weapon skins do more damage u know the gold weapon skins from the champions bundle. I think their full of it. So do they really do more damage?
Weapon skins do not affect the damage of a weapon in any way shape or form. With that being said, you should find better friends.

Nope, not true. If anything, steampunked weapons would be weaker if skins effected damage.
All skins do are make weapons look pretty. That’s it.
Skins don’t affect gameplay. Skins are purely for looks.

Unfortunately they do not.
The pretty aesthetics and the belief that you can do better with them might psychologically provide you with a placebo effect giving you more confidence and slightly improving your personal skill. But no they do not do more damage.

I don’t know, man. I use a bunch of those skins (Championship Bundle) and I still suck.
To be blunt, your “friends” are bull-Yoinking! you. Weapon skins have absolutely no effect on your guns except making them look pretty.
BTW, they’re called Steampunk weapon skins, not Gold weapon skins.
