Golden Pack bought and disappeared

Dear 343i and Halo readers,

Today I played H5 and gained reqs points by playing warzone. Arrived at a bit more than 10k of req points I decided to buy and open a gold pack. After that the little triangular animation of the opening pack was longer than the usual and I had an error message saying something like “there’s an error, open it later”.
Alright, no problem, I was in my “open packs” section and I could clearly see the golden pack. I pressed A and then I got a freeze, the loading to go back in the menu and nothing else. I thought the loading dedicated server from the warzone playlist crashed so why not, I’ll launch it later. Back in the menu I came for my open packs and there, horror, no gold pack at all. It has disappeared, no way to find it back on Halo Waypoint or anything. I checked pretty fast my inventory to see my loot in case it was already opened and I couldn’t see anything.

I don’t really know what happened but some bugs happened for sure. Now I lost 10k of reqs harshly gained on Warzone because other modes don’t rewards a lot and I got stolen.

I don’t know what you can do either, but if my reqs were not given, I want a refund for this problem and many others like the lags, the crashing servers, etc. That’s the least I can get I think.

Hope you find a solution to counter future bugs like this one.

Don’t worry OP you haven’t lost anything. IN situations like this you simply skip over the opening animation from the pack, but the REQ items inside are still added to your REQ inventory. You can either perform hard reset of your console or alternatively check your inventory here on Waypoint to see the items: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/requisitions/categories/customization?ownedOnly=False

Seems like I unlocked Shinobi armor and Maverick helmet. Good thing I didn’t lost anything, thanks for the tip stckrboy. Hope these errors are solved in the future, it can be very confusing.

P.S. Sorry for the salty topic, I am a bit angry about the connectivity issues right now, I feel like the game is emptying and the quality of servers decreasing. Is there a population stat for H5?
