I was wondering if anyone could help me. I’m usually an offline player, I don’t have the best/most reliable internet connection, nor do I have the many to pay for gold subscriptions (I have to do a lot of saving up to afford a game). I finally got a chance to connect my Xbox to the net and I had a gold trial that came with CEA but when I put in the code it said it wasn’t valid. I check, rechecked and input the code over and over but it would never work. I’ve tried contacting Microsoft to no avail. When I contacted the store I bought the game from they said it wasn’t their problem. This is incredibly frustrating for me and I was hoping someone here might be able to help me in some way. I’m in Australia if that changes anything by the way.

Really? I’d feel bad taking it but I do want to know if it’s a problem with the code itself or my account. If you’re really ok with it I’d like to try it, but only if you’re completely sure you wont use yours. I can’t connect my Xbox to the internet right now either.

In my experience, these codes hardly ever work.
I’ve gotten maybe 50 48 hour trials that weren’t valid.
And yes, they do work for Australian accounts.
Nov 24-27 is free XBL weekend It was on the Xbox dashboard.

I’ve never had it happen before, were the ones you got second hand perhaps? I just hope there’s not something wrong with my account.

one letter off, probably. Had trouble with a MS point card because two letters looked alike.

I thought the same thing and tried every combination I could think of, even thought I might’ve got mixed up with the map pack code but after trying everything I could think of, still said it was invalid.
