I opened a gold req pack via the halowaypoint site but did not earn the corresponding achievement on Xbox. Has anyone else had this issue? I searched the forums but could not find a similar post.

You have to open a Gold Pack while in the actual game. Doing stuff on Waypoint doesn’t contribute towards your Xbox achievements at all.
