The title says it all. I keep getting matched against players far more skilled than I am, and it just makes the game not fun. I know I’m not the most skilled Halo player, but I thought that was the point of SBMM, that people would be placed against other players of similar skill levels. But that’s not what I’m experiencing.
It also seems this has the side effect of making it so I can’t rank down. It seems because I’m playing against higher ranked players that my rank ddoesn’t go down when I lose. This doesn’t seem like a good system to me.
