If you have everything unlocked then you get 6,000 rp pts in return when you open a gold pack and the helmet pack is 150,000 rp pts or $9.99.
so instead of giving out a bunch of gold packs for free and ppl saving up the for the helmet pack easily, I’m pretty sure they rather you just buy the pack for real money instead.

Commentators on any sport are driven by speculation or personal experience, usually it’s better to ignore what they say(even though they make it very hard :/). I’d rather no one talks over the game at all, I don’t even wanna hear the teamchat because it’s constant call out chatter and it sounds like a bunch of stuttering and repeated words lol

at random times (while a match is not being played), the announcer will give a code
redeem it on the same page you’re watching the stream from, scroll down a bit. The code is only valid for 5 minutes or less, have to be quick

If you guys were here yesterday it was established that the codes come from 343 themselves on the west coast of America. This event is in London and there is quite a time difference. I guess no one at 343 was willing to come in that early. The event that was in St Louis gave out a lot of codes. Perhaps next weekend’s event in Mexico city will give out more codes since there won’t be the huge difference in time.

Not sure if that holds true, they gave 2 codes earlier today, one at like 5:00am pacific time, and besides, it’s almost 9 over there now and it’s been over 3 hours since the last code. lol

TBH, I know this is Halo 5, but with the release of HW2 here (and the comments above about not wanting to give out too many reqs because of the helmet pack), I’m kind of surprised they are not giving out blitz packs at least. If people watching this got free blitz packs, it might get them interested to buy the game if they were on the fence…

Well considering it’s a Saturday, so they probably don’t go in at all today. Also I find it hard to believe that they can’t deliver the codes before hand. Where was it “established” that they came from 343 at that specific moment? Because I saw it speculated that that was the issue, but zero confirmation on that.
