Gold packs are now giving me 2 x 3000 RP instead of permanent unlocks.
This is the reward given from gold packs when you have unlocked all of the permanent Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare and Legendary reqs in the payout pool. This do usually happen when you have spend around 4.0 - 5.3 million req points on Gold and Silver req packs.
If you’re getting REQ points it’s because you’ve unlocked everything available from that pack. It’s a way of refunding you since you have no more unlocks available.
Congrats! You have everything unlocked. Now your dollar goes a lot further buying gold packs…

i think when you buy some gold req packs you want to have new armors not legendary weapons, vehicles or boost i think that they should add new armors in every gold req packs i know the feeling of deception cause i’m looking for the mark v delta since a while now

You unlock everything by level 145-150…there’s no deception; you get 2 permanent unlocks per pack — it can be customization / boost / armor / weapons.

There exist some Helmets and Armors which cannot be unlocked through the standard req packs. This includes the following Armors and Helmets.

Good catch. I thought they added the classic helmets to the req pool but unsure of that now. It’s occasionally available for 150K REQ points however.

I would consider the Athlon Champion and Challenger Helmet / Armor to be the most difficult to unlock mainly due to the complete lack of possibilities to unlock. After that, I would go for the Olive helmet as some possibilities do exist but it’s highly dependent on luck and the skill to create good multiplayer maps.

However, you forgot to take into consideration that you must at least have 10,000 req points to be able to purchase gold packs. To be more precise, you can get up to 23 gold packs and 8,000 leftover req points which cannot be spend on Gold Packs.
In order to have the possibility to get 25 Gold Packs, you will need at least 106,000 req points if the same assumption is taken that you won’t sell any of the items given from the req packs.

I always get a gold pack once i clock 10k RP. opening gold packs like a child on Christmas day hoping to receive some of my favourite items.

At this time, I have gathered a collection of approximately 110 unopened Daily Login Packs that I will open before I plan to purchase req packs in large numbers. Another consequence for this is that I have collected approximately 630k req points which is ready to be spend at some point in the future.
