You can also get to the code redeem by clicking on “ESports” at the top of the screen, and “Overview” in the dropdown menu, just in case anyone didnt know

I want to reiterate this point. Don’t use this thread for discussing the plays/teams in the HCS games. Don’t post one-word responses like “cool”, “thanks”, “shway”, or things like that. Don’t repost codes that have expired; additionally, it’s a good idea to refresh the thread before posting what you think may be a new code, as this can prevent 10 people posting the same thing. Also, don’t post complaints about how few codes there are or about the length of time between codes. Remember two things: 1) anything free is totally extra and should be appreciated, and 2) this thread exists so that not everyone has to dedicate the time to watching the HCS but can still reap the rewards. So a big thank you to both 343i and the people who watch the HCS so we don’t have to.
There are Chrome extensions that you can download to auto-refresh this thread so you can browse other tabs and still notice when you get notifications (make sure you Follow this thread).

Thank you for posting this. I still need a lot of gold packs, so these codes come in handy.
I’m a noob, so can you be more specific on how this works and where these codes appear? Or a link, so I can figure it out myself? I went to halo.gg, but no place where I can put these codes (yet).

You have to watch HCS Championship series that starts today. They randomly post the codes there. Sometimes there is a lot and sometimes not so much. I posted the link in this thread. The stream starts today at 12pm EST. Or just follow this thread and people will post the code word here. They don’t put up the place to redeem the code till the stream starts.

And is there an indication how many codes get dropped? Not very specific, but is it one per hour, or will it rain codes?

From my experience, there is not set amount, but the first day seems to have the fewest and the last day seems to have the most. I think the last time I watched it the first day has 2 codes and the last day had 6-8.

Yes. When a new code arrives, it’s best to redeem it in the next 3-5 minutes before they expire.
