They really should give some kind of incentive to blow up the core. I just played a total one sided war zone match where clearly the other team had no interest in ending the game. I saw a few of their players even run through our core room ignoring it just to go for kills instead. Maybe offer up a gold pack at least for a team that blows up the core for a win.
Those people would rather pad their stats, they don’t care about a crappy gold card.

Gold pack is way too much lmfao, an extra 100-200 RP would be understandable.
But do you really think that people farm kills for extra req points? They don’t give a damn about reqs, they just want the new achilles armour. Even if you add something for destroying the core, they wouldn’t give a damn because they want kills, not RP.

funny enough I tried hiding in a VERY untraveled part of the map on Apex (aka the cave with the Zealot). Somehow 2mins later someone runs with speed boost charges in, instantly snaps his head towards me and shoots his rocket launcher and then t-bags me…
moral of the story - they will ALWAYS find you, no matter where you go. Enjoy being spawn killed.

Actually many people will not destroy the core until 10 minutes. That’s when you receive the maximum amount of req points. There lies the flaw.

Best spot to hide on Apex 7 is on the way outside of the map behind the giant boulders (like the ones the pioneers used to ride) facing the ocean.
