Gold Pack Disappeared

Yo, so I gifted a Gold Pack from one of my accounts to another (not the smurf thing, I bought one from one account that had money leftover and sent it to my main Halo account). I then switched accounts back, opened the REQ Pack, and an error pops up: “REQ PACK ERROR: We could not open your REQ Pack at this time. Please try again later.”

So I go back to the REQs and the Pack disappeared without giving me anything.

Don’t worry OP, you won’t have lost any items. What happens here is that the opening animation for the packs gets skipped over but the items do still get deposited in your REQ inventory.
