Has anyone ever pulled out an OP req when you know your team is going to lose? I pulled out a Hannibal mantis with two of my friends. The enemy wouldn’t come out of their two bases because all three of us would wreck them. Our team still somehow couldn’t capture those bases so we couldn’t win the match.
Well if your gonna lose might as well have fun doing it.
I generally don’t pull out OP Reqs when I’m about to lose, because I don’t want to waste them. But I’ll often just use Invis/Speed Boost with an SMG Bayonet and try to wreck havoc in their base.

I’ll occasionally pull one of the banes of my existence when I’m getting farmed and sneak out and start tagging snipers. I get some hate mail when I do.
I do it all the time. Make them earn the win. Plus late in the game some of the enemy on the winning team is bringing out big reqs so it’s fun to ruin their req party.
I attempt to do so with a good REQ (Banshee Ultra for example) and try to dish out as much damage before I get killed.
Someone did that a few days ago except we were winning. We had around 970 points and someone on the enemy team brought out a Phaeton. When it happened, I was like what the hell was that guy thinking.

We had about 300 points till we lost, but we were down by 300 points so we could not come back.

Oh gotcha, I assumed that it was more like 100 or less till you lost. In that case, I often pull out some high level reqs when I know my team can’t come back, but only for killing the enemy team, not normally for control over bases etc.
Yep, nearly every time I play. It’s not a waste to me if I at least put up a fight.
