I still play Halo 3 and have been doing since 2007.
I play once in a blue moon. Halo 3 was a true Halo game. Not a gimmick one like we have now.
It can take really long to find a match sometimes.
Also, Halo Reach and 4 had some features I felt like Halo 3 was missing. Unfortunately, the better parts of Halo 3 didn’t make it into either of those sequels.
i still play as well but haven’t you noticed there’s not many people on now and we as a community can come together and play halo 3 fill the severs as it used to be

same here.
I still play it occasionally. Always up for pretty much anything social, ranked, customs. Can’t play campaign though as I only have the multiplayer disk now.
I’m going to try and get on tonight what’s BTB like now. Haven’t played 3 since halo 4 came out.
I’ve gone back. I thought Reach was “Ok” but it just got boring, and stale. H3 actually feels good, so going back has been great. Match times arent too bad, though lag can be a bit heavy at times, as well as poor team comp, but with this low of a pop, its not unexpected.
I’ve goen abck to it occaisonally,but simply for nostalgia,I’ll admit it’s not as fast paced as compared to H4 but still,it was nice playing as an Elite and fighting along side the Spartans again
Why return to an old battleground? I’ve had my good times in Halo 3. Now we’ve got to move on.
I got Halo 3 yesterday and its really fun but I can only play 4 playlists because all the other ones require all DLC. Why did they have to do that!!!
That is how it should be on Halo 4!

Just get ODST and play the mythic disc with every map. That is how Halo 3 multiplayer truly shines!

No, we don’t “got” to move on. I will stick to H3 as long as it is the only arena shooter online. Besides, some of us never left.

I agree, H3 is such a fun game while the high population lasted, i still try to play it on a regular basis, although the search time could be better if 343 would willing to condense the current playlist for us… i know its wishful thinking
