Well we can’t get worse than that. I mean who the hell wrote that song? It has no unique theme or tune to recognize it, how the hell can they put that garbage in the game? Every Halo track previously has ALWAYS had a unique rhythm/tune that you instantly recognize and it stays in your head forever, every single Halo track in Halo 1, 2 and 3 have always been unique. There is NONE of that in that track, and there is BARELY any of that in the entire soundtrack! I completely forget the tracks apart from a fair few.

It’s extremely different than the other Halo music, that is why it will be off-putting to many people.
I like it, although I miss Marty’s work.
I don’t have a problem with the music. It’s a bit different from the music we’re accustom to hearing in a Halo game, but it fits nonetheless.

I like some of the tracks as they sound like Halo but with a new spin on it
(Like this),
but the crap I linked in the OP could fit in some generic cinematic garbage like Call of Duty or Transformers, that and a few others does not fit in Halo. Halo is not Call of Duty and has never been highly Cinematic with no depth.

This. I’ve liked everything I’ve heard so far. If you want to talk about a horrible soundtrack, look at Reach.
I like it. It has hints of classic Halo insome of the notes, but sounds new and conveys a feeling of dangerous mystery. I liked it much more than the Haven sample you linked in a later post.
Personally, i find it so-so. Its very different. Sounds cinematic

I like it a lot, only because it sounds new and it has a “Flight of the Valkyries” feel towards the end.
