Killstreaks? Seriously? Get a certain number of kills for a power weapon drop? Bullsh**. Just have the sniper, energy sword or rocket launcher spawn/drop at certain locations at random times throughout the match or just have them laying on a map like the old days.
I hate this casual gaming sh**. Now every damn FPS is suddenly being made more for noobs.

Just because something in your precious game changes doesn’t mean it’s “casualized”. It’s just different, until the mechanics are fully explained.
I do, however, hate the depression of creativity among the shooting genre. I feel like every bit of news that has been released is another nail in the coffin that proves 343 is jumping on the COD market. Why not do something new? And I mean actually new, not just Special Ops with a shiny new name and mysterious hype plastered on.

They are not killstreaks as confirmed by Frankie. They pop up in the HUD randomly, and the player just chooses what power weapon will spawn as ordnance. It is telegraphed and predictable, so don’t be a child.

i agree with you that they are taking ideas that have already been used before but they are not apart of the “COD market”. To be fair these additions have been in shooters for a long time

Noobified? actually with the gameplay of Halo, noobs are gonna hate this addition.
I wonder why there isnt a beta for this game…
Maybe its because they don’t want people being disappointed and cancelling preorders causing them to lose money and whatnot?
343i said it’s just for some gametypes that they used it in. No need to fret
