Before I start I get the price, but doesn’t that horrid amalgamation of colors not upset you?
And I’m not talking about the scheme, color yourself whatever eyesore you want, it’s your right and sometimes I like being blinded and mentally scarred by your horrid creations; BUT, With the literal number of colors present and what we can obviously see is a very in depth system. The fact that we ourselves CANNOT alter or customize any sets of colors is disgusting.
For every black and red, solid, black or solid color. There are just as many who dedicate the time and effort into personalization. Fashion is endgame. Let’s be honest. It’s what we grind for.
It’s been that way since reach and maintains that space in most if not every mp game today.
Is the gameplay pretty awesome. Yeah, its great, most of the time I enjoy myself. Sure there are problems we could talk about but for pages, but that’s not what we are here for.
I will beat this hammer down continuously. We need to be able to customize our colors. Wether it’s a custom pallets we buy, or they change the format and lock materials and patterns behind paywalls.
I’m fine with that. You me and your grandma should absolutely have to grind or buy patterns and mats, but BASIC color expression… Come on man.
For those who like to customize their character, why not give people the freedom to do so. You can still make people jump through all the hoops that you dictate, do this, do that, but once someone completes the task and gets a piece of armour as a reward, why not bring up a colour wheel and allow each person the freedom to customize the colour, solid or gradient. It makes no sense, this company’s behaviour is fatiguing, they know it’s something people want, that’s why there is a store, but allow people to be just a little unique. Here’s a novel idea, 343 … do something nice.
I wish the whole coating thing had been for armor patterns and not color specifics. As it is now, the chances of getting a very specific set up is probably on par with winning the lotto. For me, I want a nice dark purple and red theme going on, but how long do you think I’ll have to wait for 343i to pick that, preferably with a more clear appearance.
Speaking of “Clean” appearance. I would have also suggested them to add a slider to how dirty and warn the armor looks too. From 1 being clean armor, similar to how the HCS are currently to 5 which is how most of the default colors appear in game.
I got lucky at least that one of the Promo coatings ( the yellow and blue, aka Northwest Sky ) from the Fonko Pop figuring is a color set up I actually like and used back in the days of Quake with top and bottom colors for your character.
