Hey all,
I’ve been working away at my MCC achievements and I’m down to 6 remaining. I’ve been working with a fellow gamer on the Halo CE Speedrun achievement Goat Roped and we got our time down to 3 hours and 11 minutes. After a couple of days of trying with no progress, they’ve decided to call it quits on the achievement whereas I’d like to continue on and get it after all this effort.
The kicker here is, I know I can’t do it alone. Despite having all of these other Halo Achievements, I don’t have the skill to speedrun solo as I’m more of a patient player than a run and gun. That is why I’ve come here to reach out for some possible assistance from those who already have the achievement.
Now, I believe the 2 best levels to shave the time off of would be Truth and Rec, and Two Betrayals (As they are my worst times being 00:37:43 and 00:36:13 respectively) However I am open to other suggestions for levels if there are some that you’d think could be done easier and faster.
Either way, If you’re able to lend a hand, it would be greatly appreciated!

I actually found during H:CE and H:2 easier on solo. The save/quit method allows careful practice of checkpoints and skips. I followed Naked Eli’s guide for H:2 and was able to do well and now am following it for Goat Roped. I literally just finished Silent cartographer at just over 6 minutes. I would recommend following his videos and getting some skips the best you can

Yeah i’ve been checking them out as well, I’ll give solo a bit more of a shot for sure, I just don’t have alot of confidence in my own skills haha
Update: Got it done! Used Halo Completionists guide for it and it worked beautifully. Achievement unlocked with 3 minutes to spare!
