If you asked someone five years ago what they thought about Halo 3 the usual responses were “it’s fun”, “I love it”. If you invite them to play with you they say “Let’s do it”. Back then people for the most part had a very positive attitude towards Halo.
Now if you ask a random person what they think about Halo 4 the responses you get are “It’s OK” or “Why would I play that?” or “lolhalo4”. Things change over times and things that were liked in the past are sometimes not likeable in the future but that doesn’t mean that Halo can’t come back and be the game that everyone talks about like before. So we need to go from “lolhalo” to “yayhalo”.
Yeah, pretty much. It’s almost embarrassing to ask about Halo now, since most people think it sucks now. I miss when Halo was the game to play and everyone loved it.

Halo 4 - Mostly hated.
Halo 5 - ?

I feel like this is the path that 343 is going down. If they were going to call it Halo 5, I think that they probably would have done so by now.
A fresh start could be just what Halo needs.
