With Halo 4 already gold and reports of leaks being posted around the place now is the perfect time to go dark. Going dark= Avoiding Halo 4 related internet information sources until you’ve played the Campaign.
Apparently some copies were “stolen” in Mexico, so…
If you don’t want the Campaign spoiled, go dark, now.
I still remember the troll threads from ODST and Reach on BNET which basically spoiled the whole Campaign, although I was lucky enough to view them after I had already played it.
This also reminds me of watching Halo 3’s ending on Youtube about 5 years ago.
TLDR: Go dark.
People are going to post spoilers here and other places, forums are the most vulnerable. It always happens, so don’t risk it.
It really does suck. I still wan’t to browse and participate in forums as a dedicated community member leading up to Halo 4’s release but you can’t guarantee you’re not going to stumble upon something like this.
I hope the mod’s are on top form these coming weeks is all i can say!

I won’t discuss any specifics (probably ban worthy and giving people incentives to illegally get the game) but it has already been leaked on the internet. Confirmed.

No moderation team will ever stop a spoiler “noob”.
Imagine if this was Halo 3.
I could make a thread stating “The Ark is not on Earth”
That alone is a major spoiler.
Or if this was Halo 2
“You play as an Elite, the Arbiter”
All you need to do is see it and it is spoiled, even if they close the thread within a minute.
People have resorted to stealing video games. Can’t say I’m surprised. HEY KA FIVE! YOUR GOING ACROSS THE BORDER! GET THOSE GAMES BACK RAMBO STYLE IF NECESSARY! /sarcasm lol.
I do recommend following the OP’s advice The fact is, if you big into the games, then going dark now will be best.

No, but they can try.
343i can’t tell people to stay away from forums until November 6th, people themselves like me can’t even make that promise. No one is capable of completely eradicating a spoiler when it is so easy to present one but it doesn’t mean we should just give up.
It’s like modern day society, Law Enforcement may not be 100% effective but without it where would we be?
Avoid the internet and go dark. Or else you will be spoiled.
The ending and all the plot details will probably be up sometime in the next day, meaning jerks will spoil the game if you hang around here.
If you want to avoid that. Go dark. Now.
Oh, and jerks, if you even joke about spoilers, you will probably be banned from these forums for a long time, but I can’t speak for the forum moderators. Don’t be a jerk.
