Summary

I completely agree. Forum is full of people that have obviously not the first clue about what Halo has really been about for the last 20 years.

You can easily spot them; they’re unbareable and respond multiple time a day to every thread there is. You know they GOT to be entitled millenials.

They’re the guy with an orange shirt on his profile pic that used to work in tech, then there’s Redacted and the other furry-trans-whatever-they-are wokelord. God, I hate the future! :laughing:

First off, you forced yourself to change the title of the forum simply because people disagreed with you. You didn’t have to if you really wanted your feedback to be seen in a good light. Secondly, you can post feedback, but you can’t expect everyone to agree with you. Thirdly, what’s with the whole “trolls and human npc’s” thing? There doesn’t seem to be any trolls here. If there were trolls, people would be insulting you and making rude comments for no good reason. I was honestly just giving my feedback to your feedback, and I tried to be as respectful and civil as possible. Lastly, Halo Waypoint is a public forum like any other. So that means discussion is going to be present.

Can’t tell if you’re joking or not, but if you’re not, then all I gotta say is that camping isn’t just limited to fps games like call of duty. It can be done in other games too, just not in the way you’d probably expect.

It’s not an exploit, and it’s repeatable on Recharge as well.

“Exploit” suggest that the action in question was an unintentional or inaccessible feature that was never meant to be used. Considering there’s a voice line that alerts players when the ball goes out of bounds, and the ball has a reset mechanic if this happens, it’s very much an intentional action/feature.

Depending on map hazards obviously, it is a strategy that’s been repeatable throughout every single Halo title since CE. I personally remember doing it in Halo 3, Reach, and 4.

You don’t have to like the strat, not forcing you to, but factually, objectively speaking it’s been around in the series since it came out.

Yet it is and always has been.

So you acknowledge camping existed in all prior Halo titles, but now it’s somehow unforgivable? I’m not saying don’t camp, but walking around at a snails pace on flat open ground is a good way of losing the oddball lol. It’s kinda common knowledge you find a spot with limited engagement opportunities and potential escape paths and bunker down.

Lol I never even beat Halo 5, and I’m only SR27. And I picked the game up when it dropped at midnight :joy:

I’ve never gotten so bored of a game so quickly than I did with a Halo 5. Played for 3 weeks, never touched it again.

Yeah I’ve got NO idea what I’m talking about. Only like 15,000 Hours in Halo over all, 15 years of playing, and studied Map and Game Design purely because of Halo. But yeah I’ve got no idea. Maybe you just need to get it through your head that forums aren’t echo chambers because sometimes youre not right. Thanks kiddo.

I read it dude. I read most the thread.
I dont see any decent argument for it being poorly designed. No more than ascension or lockout.
You just have a preference and have attempted to make some ill concieved claim at authority for the map not catering to your preference.
Design is solid you just happen to dislike the map.
Its bound to happen for most of us, taste differs.

As for not giving a crap.
Clearly not true.
Or else you’d have just ignored it all…

Hope you find some maps to your liking.
So far none stand out as greats or duds to me personally. Least not in arena.
