I was wondering if the infantry upgrade effects marines and grunt squads?

Yes, they do.

Yep.

They, however, do not effect infantry heroes (Spartans and all current Banished heroes.) Same goes for the vehicle upgrade and Forge’s Warthog.

Global upgrades also do not effect super and ultimate units.

Sentinels do benefit from air pad upgrades.

It’s part of the better rush strats.
