Had a little bit of fun reading through the -Yoink!- Gaming terms of use, located here. This is a “Global Championship” but people from fifteen states are unable to participate according to -Yoink!- Gamings own terms. How is that global? I wonder how many actual countries and such are prohibited too? This was the same crap that went on with their last tournament. Surely there isn’t some sort of loophole they could go through? The laws seem to state that since we didn’t pay a fee, those states don’t allow us to compete. Well, we had to buy the damn game. Shouldn’t that count? I have seen people in Maryland win pre-order contest that didn’t have a fee, but a game was bought, so how is that any different?
Caution: I maybe just had some mead.
