In week 2 I played 20 games, I’ve been tracking my progress pretty thoroughly, however the Global Championship leaderboard says I only played 18 matches and thus didn’t qualify. I know I’m bringing this up late and nothing can be done about it now (I had no reason to check, I was just browsing the leaderboards), but there may be a problem with game tracking in general.
I also can’t access my career page, don’t know if that’s related.
According to your Game History, you did play 20 games last week. However, of the 20 games:
1 was a DNF, which counted as one of your 3 excused quits.
1 was a match in the SWAT playlist, not the Global Championship playlist.
18 were finished Global Championship matches.
My history seems to be missing two matches, one where I came third and one where I came second, all the others add up, I don’t know where that DNF came from, maybe a connection issue that could account for one of those, I didn’t quit any of my matches.
Oh well nothing to be done about it now, it’s just very frustrating.
Yeah, if that’s the case, that sucks.
You should have played more games bro. Trying to manipulate your position by only playing 20 games is a risk.
Yeah you’re right, well my logic was that playing the fewest possible games would net me a better overall score, going on how the final score is found by dividing the number of matches played.
It doesn’t look like I would have done exceptionally well even if I had got those two last matches in anyway, I got a few firsts though so I’m pretty happy with that.
It doesn’t disqualify me in any case, so I can still try for some prizes this week.
