Let me set this straight. Nobody has been found “Hacking” or using a turbo controller (because these do not work on halo games). The people that are in the top 30 (including me at 25) are perfect 8’s meaning that they have won all their games straight. This is a misconception, they are using their quits well and quitting when they know they are going to lose. Keep in mind they only have 3. So nobody is hacking. You just aren’t used to being 4 shotted

Already happened a few times. Every time they call a time out right before a game winning FG and it’s good followed by the next one missing.

Ah, yes. But the tuck rule was far more infuriating. I made a vow in January, 2002 to hate the Patriots and Tom Brady until the Raiders win the Superbowl. Then I will revert to merely disliking them.
And now I will stop hijacking this thread.
If you look at my fileshare, under videos, my first 4 (from top to bottom) are all from the same game i played on abandon. The entire game i did not experience any type of lag or anything like that. However, once i reached 18 kills and the leader had 20 the game, out of no where, started acting wierd. I was able to move and aim correctly, but whenever i fired my bullets none of my shots registered.
In the video “How” i clearly shoot the enemy player twice with my battle rifle and then punch him as he tries to melee me, but he somehow lives. Now to my knowledge, 343 has stated it will only take 2 shots and a beat down to obtain a kill with a battle rifle.
In the video “Just Can’t Win” you can clearly see me shoot the enemy player almost 9-10 times without any type of damage occurring, only for him to turn around and shoot me 4 times and i die. The thing is, shortly after i am killed, another player comes running up and is able to take down the person i was fighting in only about 3-5 seconds.
In the video “Champion Cheaters” you will see me shoot a player, who clearly has no shields, multiple times. He does not die. Instead he regains his shields, only for another player to come running in and was able to kill him, then i melee that person 3 times only for him to die because he stuck me and it ended up blowing up near him.
Some of you may reply with saying that it was my connection, but i can assure you it wasn’t. No one was “skipping” around nor did anyone quit. I even checked my network connection when it happened and the bar was green next to my name. Can anyone explain how this happened?
Shame I live in Maryland and have not been able to take part in ANY halo competitions…

Yes. It’s happened to me in SWAT (and maybe other places, but most noticeable in SWAT). No apparent lag, but shots just don’t seem to register. The fact that others were able to kill the enemies but you were not, and that there was no teleporting, really does indicate a problem on your end. Not downloading - your connection was clearly downloading just fine (else there would be teleportation). But if for some reason your connection stops uploading properly, voila!
You might not notice it in movement if the upload is only intermittently interrupted. But if that interruption happens just as you’re pulling the trigger, the shot won’t register on the host (even though you will see it on your screen).
Now I understand you’re frustrated, but you already started your own thread on this, and the only reason you would also put it in here is to imply that people like the OP must be cheating. Not particularly polite.
Anyway, you can rest easy knowing that it wasn’t cheating and it wasn’t likely a bad host. Sucks, yah, but that’s online play.
Ok, first off, there are people who do boost during this tournament. When you get shot twice back to back with no pause inbetween shots by a dmr, and what I mean is that there is always a short instance inbetween shots, you begin to wonder. I mean I am not a -Yoink- player. I only recently picked up halo 4 again cause of the tournament. I do know that it is impossible to shoot a dmr like an assault rifle and call that legit. You say these people do not boost or anything at all but they do. You can say all you want about the subject but I stick to my opinion. When you go from one second of having perfect connection to being 3 shot and in a few instances 2 shot, you begin to get pissy. I am quite sure it has happened to a few others. All I know is it is really unfair to the legit people in this tournament that do not have to cheat to get ahead. I just think 343 needs to do some better looking into the stuff you call “legit” shots.
Don’t you get a 0 when you quit a match? I’m confused as to what your talking about.
