Glitches with Warzone Firefight

Has anybody else experienced the following problems with Warzone Firefight?
Temple - grunts stop spawning in and lose round.
Urban - one of the banshees, goes into the wall and lose round.
Sanctum - one of the wraiths, in the final round, falls under the map and lose round.
Apex 7 - one of the knights, in round 5, is invincible and lose round.
Stormbreak - req out a vehicle and drop below the map.
Arc - one of the banshees, goes inside the leg of the large structure and lose round.
Prospect, Darkstar and Stormbreak - this isn’t really a problem, as it’s protect the generators or garage, but enemies stop spawning in.
Problems associated with all maps, req out a vehicle and just get trapped in the vehicle bay for the rest of the game.

Some other things that I just find annoying, which especially happens on Mythic -

  1. dropped into the last round with 2 minutes left
  2. dropped into a round, take 2 steps, game over
    ( I was once dropped into a game, on to the pelican, as it was leaving, in a failed round)

These have all been problems… and I’ve noticed them. Part of the problem… is that the fireteam will kill the enemies too fast… so you just need to be careful with those ones… the grunts on Temple and jackles on Apex 7 are really bad for that… but that one, I blame my team more than anything… they care so much about getting the most points, they’ll do anything (including running over team mates) and getting an obscene amount of kills (and then come here to the forums and complain about a lack of participate from everyone else in the fireteam).

The other ones… that’s a 343 issue, and they’ve already stated they’re not fixing H5 (at least any time soon). I agree with these problems and have seen them multiple times, I just look at it as free xp… and that’s more matches I can play. I wouldn’t stress over it… it’s a 6 year old game they aren’t going to fix… I would make the most of it and have as much fun as you can…

Thanks mate. At least it is a known problem. Now that you mention it, the grunts not spawning in, does seem to be a round where they are killed very quickly. I have also been run over many times. I often get a team member that is simply out of control. Just a few days ago, one of the team members on Temple, was in a warthog first round, running eveybody over. If they don’t kill you outright, an enemy will finish the job quickly.

I know it’s kind of a -Yoink- move… but if I am in a firefight like that… I’ll just hang out in the garage or whatever… and then wait for them to send me a love letter… I have zero cares anymore and I’m not going to let their ignorance get to me… but yea… it’s definitely gotten worse with the news of Infinite…

For all the enemies not spawning, it has to do with the way they spawn using forerunner tech. Generally, everyone should wait 1-2 seconds after they spawn in before killing them, cause if you kill them too fast, the game may not register that they have been killed. & since enemies continue to spawn after x amount of enemies killed, you can be stuck at like 47/100 but the game only recognizes you killed 40 for example. It’s okay when this happens during defense stages, although it is faster to just kill them all.

Sanctum - one of the wraiths, in the final round, falls under the map and lose round.- this happens when a teammate in a banshee knocks into the phantom and messes up its flight pattern, most of the time dropping it under the map

As others have said most of these are known. I can give the cause for those I know about:

Temple Grunts- Happens when your teammates get a bit ahead of themselves and kill the Grunts AS they teleport in. The game doesn’t register that they have died and will not spawn replacements.

Urban Banshees- There is a hole in the geometry of the map that only the AI can exploit. I suggest trying to take out the bosses while the non-boss banshees are still present, but also avoid the main base as the hole is directly above the left exit. (I reported this glitch and they asked me if it was fixed when they updated MCC, so I’m guessing it won’t be touched).

Sanctum- Someone on your team is griefing and pushed the phantom below the geometry with a Banshee.

I have never had an invincible knight, so that one must be exceedingly rare. The spawning and player dropping through the maps issues could be connection based. I have had those happen a few times, but rare enough out of the thousands of matches that I have played that it was never really an issue.

halo 5 in all is a very glitchy game

Last night’s nightmare -
Temple, second round, Elites stopped spawning in. 3 players quit, then 3 new players were dropped in. They just had to stand around for a couple of minutes until we lost the game. 0 kills, 0 assists, 0 headshots, 0 damage - blood boiling

Hey… at least it’s free xp and it helps your stats a little. But yea… what makes it even more frustrating is that these are known issues, but 343 won’t do anything to fix it, because they’d rather waste their time fixing a rehash of even older games and working on Infinite (which I’m fine with the Infinite of it all but they really should be fixing 5 not MCC). I get how frustrating it is, I’ve had countless games like that… but at least it finishes quickly and you can get into another match and get more xp… but yea… it sounds like the Halo gods are not smiling on you.

I just feel, especially the last couple of months, that some things have changed. I’m getting more glitches and the gold packs are giving out less and less of the better req’s. I have had all common or uncommon req’s, with just 1 ultra rare or legendary req, a number of times. It doesn’t happen all the time, but garbage stuff, that you just sell because you don’t use it, seems to be more and more common. I haven’t seen any announcements, but it’s almost like, if you haven’t hit 152 by now, it is going to be a lot harder to get there.

I haven’t had any issues.

I honestly wish that I could say the same. I certainly don’t want any issues. Halo is the only gaming I have time for nowadays. I have been gaming for years, and Halo is now, pretty much, all I have.

After of playing thousands of Mythic Warzone Firefight grinding to 152 around of 14 hours per day, I saw all that things that you had mentioned dude, I send a Ticket reporting all those things but, 343 will do nothing because they will not fix many of the bugs that still persist to this day. For that reason, I uninstall Halo 5 and move on to MCC, and I will move on to Halo Infinite when is released.
