I was running the Enemy Lines campaign mission LASO - Legendary, All Skulls On - with Score Attack enabled. Got all the way thru the mission to the all clear in the Constructor room, with Palmer starting to direct exit when I went to black screen and was kicked all the way out of the game to my home screen (running the game on XBOX ONE X, with game installed on external disk) and no credit for the run!! Is this a known glitch and if so what do I do to avoid it? If not then it definitely needs to be fixed. As a precaution I am moving the game from my external to internal disk. If that doesn’t work then I will try running it with score attack off, then possibly reinstalling the game. Regardless, this is a potential bug that needs to be addressed!!
Solved my own problem. Used the oldest “computer problem” advice in the world – unplugged the XBOX and plugged it back in (after 30 seconds). Thought just maybe the cache might be corrupted at some point so a hard reset should clear the problem and I was right! After the reset I ran Enemy Lines multiple times with increasing difficulty to the normal end, with the last run being the LASO run which completed normally and credit posted to my campaign stats.
