Glitched Banhammer

i know lots of people say “i got banned for no reason” but you can see there last few games they were quitting and the last one they quit got them a banhammer. but as you can see in this vid didn’t quit, didnt, TK or suicide, in fact i was top player, never lagged out. just something happened after i leave to main menu after post game report. first it says connection error, than it says after wards banhammer. i only quit 1 time the entire day and that was like 3 matches ago because i got on a really really bad team and it was worth it to quit because next game we dominated on so it was worth quitting when the team i was originally on had 2 AFK players and 1 guy that just kept running in and dying. so i quit, got in a new game, spanked enemy team 50 to 12. played a few more matches, and in a close game we lots by an inch and than after game i get banned.

Luckily your banhammer is no insane like halo reach when bungie was in charge and it was punishing people for all sorts of dumb reasons and perma banning people like no tmrw n you guys had to come in and unban everyone. so the 1 strike ban for 5 min and than after 24 hours the ban gets reset back to 0 is a great idea so each day is a new start. i just wanted to report this because im not sure this happened to anyone else because this has to be a glitch of some kind. maybe when the connection error happened it somehow thought i played a new match after and left in a tenth of a second or something and that what happened. idk but though i should report this.

Hey OP, you have a quite a few more DNF matches over the past week. You ban won’t have been for quitting that one match, but it will have been the trigger. Generally the game runs at least 1 match behind, though it can take one or two for the system to catch up. So sometimes it can look like you have been banned for winning a match, it’s just the game catching up with everything going on.

wait than how is the game actually recording. because when i was watching the videos about the new banhammer it sounded like your DNFs were reset after 2am like the Warzone n Arena free req pack. so how far back does it actually go? is it a week or a month?

DNF’s don’t get reset as far as I can tell (feel free to link me to the videos your were watching though). My observations see that the systems looks for patterns in your account history - taking into account quitting, betraying and AFK’ing. There are certain triggers that will cause a ban and vary depending on if you account has a patterned history of doing any of those things. I imagine if you go a long time with a clean record that will greatly reduce the risk of you hitting a trigger (essentially a reset)
