Has anyone had any issue unlocking achievements post-Defiant map pack? I’ve done what’s required for a few over the last couple of days, but haven’t actually gotten any of them. Even if they’re pack specific, I was on those maps, so I can’t figure out what the issue might be. Help?
Which achievements are you having troubles with?
The Infection based ones, Don’t Touch That and Paper Beats Rock. I’m not sure if perhaps a new host was chosen and maybe that had something to do with it, or if I missed something. But IIRC, I’ve done what the achievement says to the dot, several times now, and still nothing =/

Emergency Room must be done on an Anniversary map. Play some Anni FFA for this one.

The other LD one (I forget what it’s called…but it’s the one where you need to be last man standing) needs to be done on a Defiant map so Condemned/Uplink. Best bet is to find 11 others with the Defiant map pack and go in and play for the achievement specifically.

Don’t Touch That is a 1 flag CTF on a Defiant map so Condemned or Highlands. Hard to find the game variant but I’ve seen it in Squad DLC. Again, I suggest a full party playing specifically for the objective. BUT this achievement in particular is finicky, if the host migrates, the achievement won’t unlock.

Paper Beats Rock is also a Defiant map specific achievement. Squad DLC is your friend on this one too.

Don’t touch that is cancelled out if there is a host migration.
Paper Beats Rock is hard to time you literally need to ASSASSINATE the player just after the frosting effect ends.
Make sure you are assassinating them and not just hitting them in the back for a beat down.

Suggestion if you do end up with a full party searching in LD for the Infection achievement - have one person delete their Noble map pack and someone delete their Anniversary map pack (don’t worry, you can always redownload them from your DL history!) and it’ll boost the odds of a Defiant DLC map showing up.
To avoid a redundant topic, I just had a game where I should have unlocked “Don’t Touch That!” which requires you to prevent the enemy team from touching your flag in a 1 Flag CTF game.
We did that. They didn’t even get close to the flag. The Achievement has not unlocked. Any suggestions?

Was there a hint of lag during the game or any sort of host migration, were you also on a Defiant map as well?

No lag, no host migration, but there were several people on the opposite team who quit, but none of them were host. Yes, I was on Highlands, my favorite of the Defiant set.

Probably had something to do with the enemies quitting.
And they didn’t touch the flag in either round?

The closest they got to the flag was a bit over a meter, give or take. Never once grabbed it.
Sounds like bad luck to me. Sorry man.

I know. Map specific, okay. Game specific, okay. Map AND game specific is cruel.
