Okay, I’ll do my best to describe this without having a video, I make no promises for how easy this will be to understand.
In the level the Nexus there is a part with a Gondola. My boyfriend wanted to skip it, because why not try? Anyways, there is a big giant gold circular door about halfway through the Gondola ride (which he doing via grapple). Before the door there are ‘pillars’ on the right hand side. By the closest pillar to the door, there is a ledge that goes along the wall behind it, and you can walk either towards the circular door, or you can walk the other direction. Now, here’s where things get interesting. If you walk away from the door you go out of bounds. When he did this, he sort of became detached from his body. He could look, but Master Chief did not move. He could change equipment but not use any. Seemingly the only option was to quit.
Admittedly we don’t know if you can explore outside the map, as we didn’t want to risk getting stuck again. But perhaps you could. Maybe you won’t always crash like we did, so if you want to try and explore it, feel free.
We took a game clip, I’ll try and link that later if I can figure out how to. Though, I’m not sure how much you’ll be able to see in the clip. I haven’t looked at it yet, as this just recently happened.
