Glitch: bypassing the nightfall ending cutscene

One day, while I was having that form of gamer-ADD where you just start jumping around on everything, I found that there was a really easy jump-up to the clifftops on Nightfall. When you walk across that, you force the game to not load any enemies and not register the fact that you’ve hit the ending cutscene. So you can walk around where the cutscene takes place without triggering it:

lol “DABIGESTBOB is online”

Cool vid, I didn’t know you could do that.

Nice, now only if there was full on glitch on Winter Contingency that allowed no enemies, it would be nice to do a laso on it.

But this is cool and help me understand the forklift glitch.

i love glitches this is awesome!

WC is easy enough. No need to make it any easier.

The whole campaign is easy.

Are you kidding? Reach is arguably one of the hardest campaigns to complete on Legendary.

That’s quite an old trick btw.

Sierra-117 is a challenge, but I passed it on Heroic. The real Yoink! is Cortana. (no pun intended)

I would have to disagree strongly on this one. Everything that can’t be skipped can be noob combo’d. The game is practically as hard on Legendary as it is on Easy; same with ODST.

Well I mean if you actually do it legitimately. Without glitching and just running through.

Even if you were to fight your way through every scenario singlehandedly and only were to progress through the level once everything around you was dead, it would probably only take another 45 mins. Everything that can’t be killed with a headshot (so…killed in a split second) can be noob combo’d (so…they take 1 more second to kill) aside from hunters, which require you to follow a simple routine strategy to kill.

The only reason I considered SLASO challenging was the iron skull, which punished the slightest mistake.

Thats a pretty old glitch. Theres a cooler glitch where you can fly a banshee on nightfall.

To the person who wanted no enemies on W.C. I know a glitch where you can skip 3/4 of the mission and make a bunch on enemies friendly.
