[GLASSLANDS SPOILERS] MC's new armor... ?

Hi there,

I have been thinking about Halo 4’s future plot, and I got to the conclusion that Master Chief is going to receive the 2554-model Warthog and his new armor (most likely a Mark VII) from the Spartans-IV.

We knew there would be a ship called Infinity in Halo 4 thanks to a concept art.

And If you read Glasslands you’ll discover that there were Spartans-IV created using volunteer S-III and they are on that ship…

Well, those were “shipped” with the Infinity late 2553, meaning that the 2554-model Warthog could have already been on mass production.

So, I’m my opinion, Master Chief is going to contact with those new S-IV and get the Warthog and probably his new armor from the Infinity.

That would explain why we haven’t been showed anything about the S-IVs… not even a mention about their armor.

Thoughts?

I haven’t read that book yet but that would make perfect sense, I mean just yes. Thanks for pointing that out!

I remember people always said that the UNSC wouldn’t be able to reach John for ages due to their less advanced slipspace tech, and they were right. However now the UNSC has ships such as the Infinity that have experimental Forerunner based tech so it would make sense for them to be able to travel to such places.

I’m glad you agree with this, thank you!

Yeah, but I think we should consider their new tech as good as Forerunner’s, since it’s confirmed by Halo Legends that they will be in space at least until 2558…

I don’t think it’d be AS good but good enough to get them there in a short amount of time. Possibly better than the Covenant’s too.

Sorry, I meant “not so good” but forgot to write “not”, I agree with you.

But about it being better than the Covenant’s… I don’t really know what to say, if it wasn’t they would have an explanation for “no purple” in Halo 4 along with the Elites being unable to repair their ships, but I am not able to confirm or deny that.

I haven’t read Glasslands yet, so if someone discovers something related to this topic, please let know.
