At the end of Glasslands the Infinity is handed over to Serin Osman and she is the captain of Infinity. Why is the captain in the live action trailer Cpt Del Rio instead of Osman? Also i think that Fred, Kelly, and the other Spartan IIs and IIIs should be included in the games somehow. i think it would be cool to play as some of the characters from the books.
And i hope they elaborate more on Dr. Halseys story, she has to cross paths with the Chief at some point!!!
When was she given command of the infinity? I missed that part. I believe Parangosky offered her the head of ONI, but not the captain of the infinity. She is probably going to be the next head of ONI.
Osman wasn’t given command of the Infinity, that honor still belongs to Captain Del Rio. However, Parangosky did select Osman to succeed her as the head of ONI.
Oh oops i was totally wrong about that. thank you lol
but seriously though there should be a moment in the games where all the surviving spartan IIs reunite and kick some -Yoink- it would be awesome if you could play as Fred in a Co-op mission or even if there was a spartan ops type co-op with 4 players who go in as the Chief, Fred, Kelly, and Linda. i dunno just wishful thinking probably but it would be cool.
They should also do something with Ghosts of Onyx i think that would make an awesome spin-off game or a cool CGI movie
and i still think Halsey would appreciate one more conversation with John

It’s been heavily implied that Blue team will appear in future Halo games, but not in Halo 4.

If she lives past the Kilo-Five trilogy that is which I sincerely doubt. As for the rest of the Spartan-IIs showing up, it would have to be done right because the vast majority of fans probably won’t know who they are or care about them as much as we do.

Oh alright, I should re-read it soon perhaps.
But it’s a fast program compared to the others right?

I’d say so, but it’s also very different from the previous 2 Spartan programs, using adult volunteers instead of children.

Indeed they were already Soldiers from other branches of the military so they don’t need to be trained for several years like the other Spartan children. There is probably an adjustment period where they get used to the augmentation and armor enhancements but other than that they were already ODSTs or whatever at one point so they can fight.
I believe Halsey will live past the Kilo-5 trilogy. I remember reading somewhere that she ends up giving some important speech when she’s in her 90’s. So she might still have another 30 something years minimum in her if what I read was canon.

Do remember that Parangosky said that there were already SPARTAN-IV’s stationed up in the Oort Cloud on the UNSC Infinity by the time Osman found out about it, so it had to be apparoved a little before March of 2553.
If I remember correctly, Parrangosky said that Osman had to be “briefed on Infinity”. What I get from this is that Osman is going to be one of the 17, 000 of humanities best who are on board the Infinity, not the captain. What I’m hoping is that having shown Osman Halsey’s journal and the torturous suffering that Halsey put her subjects through, Parrangosky will ask Osman to lead the training of the Spartan IV’s on Infinity because she would not treat the Spartans as Halsey did.

As kindly and humanly as possible given the circumstances?
