Giving up on Halo? No, I will not.

when someone told me they gave up on Halo. This was my response. What do you think?

Giving up only means we failed. Did the Arbiter not once tell us “Were is so easy?” Halo isn’t the only game suffering. She need her community more than ever. Otherwise it will die. But in a sad sad way. I’d rather let Halo Go out with a Bang~ Sergeant Johnson And to Halo I said "I’m not leaving you behind~ Master Chief (Halo 4). Because halo isn’t just a game on a console. It’s an influence and a marker of our lives. That’s why it’s important to never forget~ Halo 3. Because where you see halve of a small ship; I see a family And that’s always worth fighting for.~ Captain Cutter (HW 2).

I Think it’s very nice and well said so see you around Spartan.

When things stur up in the community, Those most loyal tend to fight for our beloved community. We want to see Halo Grow. And giving up only makes a decline.

The big thing I think is that most of the Halo community from back in the original trilogy days are either old enough now that they are busy with their families and don’t have the time to play anymore, they were kids that are now young adults that are starting out their adult lives, or they just veered to Destiny (traitors lol). I feel a good chunk of the community now has been replaced by a new generation of kids and a bunch of Cod players that have gotten sick with Cod. So you can definitely tell the difference in the way the community acts compared to what it used to be, as well running into the old time halo fans has become harder and harder.

Coming from an old school Halo fan, I’ll definitely never give up on the series.

Love all the quotes you were able to put in there

I haven’t loved a halo game since Reach and i still keep up with the news and lore and what not

Not giving up, will always be a fan, but I find myself spending less time in the game. I like the multiplayer improvements and MLG stuff…very cool; however, replay ability incentive for campaign players is just not there, no news on the Halo TV show, The Bulletin is long gone, and the Halo Channel does not get updates. It’s not as much as fans giving up on Halo as it is the fans are being lost along the way. I think Halo 5’s campaign should have RP’s and incentives like Halo Reach, bring back The Bulletin, turn out original content videos / TV shows, and update the Halo Channel regularly… including more fan interviews like they did with Kevin Hurd on The Bulletin…for example. Things are getting dull. I only say this because I love Halo…we need more of it…in diverse ways.

this is whats so good about the halo community and why we are the best.that being said I hope that halo keeps growing so that I and other long time fans can continue to wreck pineapples that juststarted playing:)

Never will I ever give up on Halo.
If this ship is sinking I’ll go down with it!

Amen! Now that’s Loyalty!

Yeah, as long as Halo lives, I’ll stick with it. I’ve been a loyal Halo fan for quite a few years now, so I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. I played Halo: CE when I was 5 and even though I was terrible, it was all so wonderful and magical to a child’s eyes. then there were the Flood, who I was terrified of. On those missions, I just asked my dad to play for me. 3 years later, Halo 2 releases and I still remember my dad and I playing split-screen on Legendary, on “Outskirts”, when the two Hunters bust through the door, we attempted that part like 50 times. I miss those days. Now I don’t have anybody to play Halo with…most of them have switched to CoD, which is a sad thing. :frowning:

I love Halo. Lately, I’ve been expressing my Halo love through cosplay and props. My passion for Halo only grows!

Well your welcome to add me, and or join my clan. We’re still around on Halo Quite a bit as our main game.

Halo got me into gaming.

In my hopes and dreams, it will go back to classic style, but honestly it’s hard to have faith after the last two FPS installments.

Edit- Plus, lately gaming has been feeling like a dead end to me.
