With Halo infinite looking potentially rather excellent regards to what has been shown and talked about in the past couple of years, this has me a little concerned. In games and film today things have changed and it’s not at all surprising to see aspects tacked on or worse shoved down our throats. As part of escapism the sort of stuff that really has no place being there. I have to be careful of course because this is a sensitive subject on a Forum like this but the Last of us 2 is a good example of what sort of thing I’m referring to given how the sequel appears to be very disrespectful to both the previous game and it’s fans
People just want a really great game featuring the Chief but does that also mean we must endure current topics of debate and inclusions completely unnecessary to the experience? . Looking to a lot of changes to films and shows these past 5 years it’s evident this has become almost mandatory it seems for those working on this stuff to include things that take us out of the experience and you have to wonder what that means for Halo infinite
It’s a justified concern I think
